Burna Boy's mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, used her son's 35th birthday to press him on marriage and children.

The singer, born Damini Ogulu, marked the milestone on July 2nd with a small gathering of close friends and family. A clip from the celebration, shared by his associate Richie 7 on Snapchat, captured the moment.

Asked to make a birthday wish, Burna Boy said, "I wish for good health and prosperity." His mother cut in immediately: "Add good wife and children."

Mama Burna, as she is popularly known, has managed her son's career since 2017.

It is not the first time the subject has come up. Burna Boy has said in past interviews that he is neither married nor a father because his schedule does not allow him to commit properly to family life. 

He has insisted he does not want children outside marriage, or a situation where fame keeps him away from a home he is meant to be present in.
