Annie Idibia has dismissed rumours that she's reunited with her estranged husband, music star Innocent "2face" Idibia.

The actress addressed the speculation in a post on her Instagram Stories on Monday, dismissing the viral clips fuelling the rumours as outdated.

"Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere," she wrote.

The rumours took off on Friday after footage resurfaced showing the former couple dancing closely, cuddling, and kissing at a nightclub, to 2face's song "Amaka" featuring Peruzzi. The clip spread rapidly across social media, with many assuming it was recent.

Annie's response included a fresh video with a visible date stamp, distancing her current content from the older footage; her hairstyle in the new clip also differed from the one circulating online.

Annie and 2face announced the end of their marriage in January 2025, after more than a decade together. He later confirmed a relationship with Edo State House of Assembly member Natasha Osawaru.

Despite the split, the pair have continued to co-parent their two daughters, with 2face recently sharing warm moments spent with the girls alongside his sons from a previous relationship.
