Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has denied using church funds to purchase his private aircraft, saying he has never taken money from the church to buy any of his four planes.

Oyedepo made the statement while speaking about wealth creation and his personal journey, saying he started flying before he could afford his first new car.

“It took me time to drive the first new car, but it didn’t take me time to start flying. I’ve never taken a dime from this church to buy any of my planes, and I have 4 planes. I use anyone I like if one is faulty.”

He also spoke against using drugs and betting as ways of making money, saying, “You don’t have to do drugs or NaijaBet. Wealth gotten by vanity shall diminish.”

Oyedepo has addressed questions about his private aircraft in the past.

During the 2024 Shiloh programme, he said:

“First aircraft without any prayer, without any idea that the aircraft was coming. The offering didn’t buy it oh, God bought it.”

The Living Faith founder also addressed similar accusations in 2014 after claims that church money was being used to maintain his private jets.

Oyedepo’s latest comments are his personal account of how his aircraft were acquired. He did not provide financial documents or other evidence during the remarks to independently establish how the planes were financed.
