A brief moment at a recent movie premiere has set social media talking about the relationship between Nollywood star Funke Akindele and actor Tobi Makinde.

Both actors became popular for working closely on Jenifa’s Diary, where Makinde played Akindele’s assistant. Over time, their working bond turned into what fans believed was a mentor-and-protégé relationship. Makinde had even described Akindele as someone he looked up to and learned from.

But at Timini’s movie premiere, a video showed them standing near each other without greeting or speaking. That small moment quickly caught attention online.
