Celebrity chef Hilda Baci’s lawyers have demanded an apology and retraction from singer Seyi Vibez over social media posts in which he made allegations about her.

Seyi Vibez, whose real name is Afolabi Oluwaseyi Balogun, deleted the posts after lawyers from Olaniwun Ajayi LP issued a formal demand letter on August 15, 2026.

The singer had made the comments on August 14 while reacting to the ongoing dispute involving his former music executive, Damilola Akinwunmi, popularly known as Dapper. In one post, Seyi Vibez alleged that catalogue money was being used to fund Hilda Baci’s bbl

He also claimed in another post that he had eaten food associated with Baci and that it “almost” killed him.

Baci’s lawyers, acting on her behalf, described the posts as defamatory and demanded their immediate removal. They also requested a public apology and retraction across Seyi Vibez’s social media platforms.

The legal team further demanded that the singer issue a written undertaking not to repeat the allegations and call on his followers to stop any harassment directed at Baci. The letter reportedly gave Seyi Vibez three days to comply and warned of further legal action if he failed to do so.

The dispute involving Baci emerged from a wider fallout between Dapper and several artistes formerly associated with his label.

T.I Blaze had accused Dapper of failing to account for about ₦1.2 billion in revenue and questioned the involvement of Virgin Music in the handling of his catalogue. Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi also made separate allegations concerning their dealings with the music executive.

Dapper has denied the allegations and called for an independent forensic audit of the disputed accounts, suggesting firms including KPMG, PwC and Deloitte.
