Content creator Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, has shared a light-hearted reaction after revisiting a viral moment from her court wedding to fellow content creator Hamzat Habeeb, popularly known as Peller.

In a video posted on Snapchat, Jarvis revealed that she became curious after rewatching the ceremony, particularly the registrar's warning about the legal consequences of violating Nigeria's marriage laws.

"I was just thinking about it because I watched the video again," she said. "When I got to that part, I asked myself, 'Wait, is that five-year imprisonment for the man only or for the two of us?' Maybe it's for the man alone, maybe it's for both of us. Not me, Jesus. God forbid. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus."

The remark referenced a moment during the couple's court wedding when the marriage registrar explained the legal implications of breaching the Marriage Act.

Addressing the newlyweds before the marriage was solemnised, the registrar said: "This is a counsel hearing. If any of you goes against the rules, he or she is guilty of an offence, and the penalty is a minimum of five years' imprisonment with no option of fine."

The warning sparked a noticeable reaction from Peller during the ceremony, with the clip quickly gaining traction across social media.

Jarvis and Peller officially tied the knot in a civil ceremony on July 29, 2026, with clips from the event continuing to generate conversations online.
