Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as B-Lord, has cautioned young Nigerians against rushing into marriage.

He spoke on a recent episode of the Adult Gist podcast.

B-Lord said many youths rush into marriage due to peer pressure and societal expectations, even when they are not financially or emotionally ready.

He urged singles to take their time and choose life partners carefully.

"Don't rush to marry. Take your time and make a good choice for a life partner," he said.

B-Lord also urged men and women to treat their partners the way they would want their own children treated.

He warned that marriages entered in a rush often end quickly.

"So, don't be in a rush to marry. Marriage is not an achievement. Nobody should push you into marriage. Because if you rush into marriage, you will rush out," he said.

B-Lord added that age should not be a determining factor in the decision to marry.

"Don't marry who you will regret later. Because to reverse marriage is very, very hard, most especially when children are involved," he said.
