Nollywood actress Temitope Kofoworola Osoba, popularly known as Tope Osoba, has been laid to rest in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.

Osoba was buried on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Iperu Remo Cemetery following a funeral service held at Akesan Club, opposite Iperu Morning Market.

Family members, friends and colleagues from the Yoruba film industry gathered to pay their final respects to the actress. Among those present were actors and filmmakers including Foluke Daramola, Kunle Afod, Joke Jigan and Basira Badia.

The burial came weeks after Osoba’s death in August at the age of 40. Her funeral was initially scheduled for August 13 but was postponed by her family.

The postponement came as questions surrounding the circumstances of her death remained under investigation. Her autopsy was later completed, with Kunle Afod confirming on September 8 that the actress would be buried on September 10.
