Odumodublvck says men should be ready to die for their women
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has said any man who cannot die for his woman is “foolish.”
He made the comment during a recent episode of the In Motion Podcast, where he spoke about relationships, marriage, and his Christian beliefs. Odumodublvck said his position comes from the biblical instruction for husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church.
“Any man who can’t die for his woman is a fool,” the rapper said, referring to Christ’s death for the Church as an example of the sacrifice he believes a man should be willing to make for his wife.
Speaking about his expectations for his future family, the singer affirms he would likely die before his wife because she is younger than him. He said he wants his wife to distribute his wealth among their children after his death and continue his legacy.
He further addressed the perception that he is a misogynist, describing the label as the biggest misconception about him. He questioned whether a man willing to die for his partner could be described that way. In his words:
“The biggest misconception about me is that I am a misogynist. It bothers me a lot because it is such an unfair thing to say.”
His comments follow previous public statements about his relationship. In June 2026, Odumodublvck said his girlfriend is the first person he calls when he receives good news, before speaking to other people, including his manager.
“At the end of the day, nobody else cares about me more than she does,” he said at the time during an appearance on the VERSUS Player Lounge.
He had also spoken about their relationship in 2025, saying he met his girlfriend before he became wealthy and describing her as his “everything” and a gift from God.
The rapper and singer's latest comments seem to come from a place of confusion, considering the BlaqBonez vs. Odumodublvck saga that played out week after week and now appears to have been forgotten. While some reactions online seem to agree with his position, many others still hold grudges against him and remain critical of his views.
