The music catalogue of P-Square is gaining renewed traction on Nigeria’s Apple Music Albums Chart as the latest dispute between Peter and Paul Okoye continues to draw public attention.

According to music chart platform Album Talks HQ, the group’s compilation album, Best of P-Square, climbed 87 places to No. 100 on the Nigeria Apple Music Albums Chart.

Two of the duo’s studio albums also returned to the chart. Get Squared re-entered at No. 173, while Game Over returned at No. 182.

The movement comes amid renewed public interest in the Okoye brothers, who have again been involved in a public dispute after years of tensions over their music business and family affairs.

Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has in recent months continued to speak publicly about his disagreements with his brothers. In April, he said the dispute was rooted in what he described as years of betrayal, mistrust and disagreements over the management of their music business.

Peter said he had chosen to distance himself from family members and prioritise his peace, while also confirming that aspects of the dispute remained before the courts.

The brothers' dispute has also involved legal proceedings surrounding their former manager and elder brother, Jude Okoye. In February, Peter admitted in court that he was a co-signatory to a Northside Entertainment Limited bank account, despite having earlier testified that Jude was the sole signatory.

The latest attention on the brothers has coincided with listeners returning to P-Square's catalogue, including albums that helped establish the duo as one of Nigeria's biggest music acts.

P-Square, made up of the twin brothers, rose to prominence in the early 2000s with albums including Get Squared, Game Over, Danger, The Invasion and Double Trouble. Their catalogue includes songs such as 'Bizzy Body,' 'Do Me,' 'Ifunanya,' 'E No Easy,' 'Alingo' and 'Bank Alert.' Apple Music continues to list the group's major albums and recordings on its artist page.
