Prime Boy Cries Out Over Mohbad’s Unburied Body, Accuses Family of Misusing Donations
A fresh wave of reactions has followed a viral video showing Prime Boy openly protesting over the continued delay in the burial of late singer Mohbad.
In the video making rounds online, Prime Boy appealed to both Mohbad’s family and the Nigerian government to take responsibility and bring closure to the case.
He expressed frustration that nearly three years after the artist’s death, Mohbad has still not been laid to rest.
Prime Boy also claimed that money donated by fans and well-wishers in the wake of Mohbad’s passing is allegedly being enjoyed by family members instead of being used for proper burial arrangements and justice.
“I suffered in this matter,” he said during the protest.
“Mohbad’s family should do the right thing. The government should also do the right thing.”
Mohbad’s death in 2023 shook the country and triggered mass protests, with Nigerians demanding answers about what truly happened.
Authorities later ordered his body to be exhumed for an autopsy as investigations continued.
Nearly three years later, the unresolved burial and unanswered questions have once again stirred public anger, with many Nigerians calling for transparency and accountability from both the family and the authorities handling the case.
