The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has cleared former Cross River State Governor Donald Duke as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.

The National Working Committee (NWC) gave the approval after reviewing the recently held primaries. The Primaries Appeal Committee submitted its report, which the NWC subsequently endorsed.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Ishaq, announced the decision in a statement on Saturday in Abuja. He confirmed that the NWC also upheld results for governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and state assembly candidates.

Ishaq added that the PRP will field a total of 420 candidates across all elective positions in the 2027 polls. The party nullified only the primary for Tarauni Federal Constituency in Kano State.
