Davido's elder sister and Chief Financial Officer of Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), Sharon Adeleke used a recent vlog to push back on the pressure public figures face to never be seen in the same outfit twice, telling her audience the fear around repeating clothes needs to go.

Her point came from personal experience. Sharon said she recently had an event to attend without anything newly made for the occasion, so she reached for something she'd already worn.

"Last Sunday, I had an event and I did not have anything made for it. So, I decided to wear something that I have worn before and my team objected that people have seen it before and they will see it again. But I wore it anyway," she said.

"Don't let anybody tell you you can't repeat your clothes. I will re-rock as many times as I like. I am not going to let anybody put unnecessary pressure on me," she said. "Don't be afraid to repeat your clothes. Re-rock as many times as you like."

The comments carry some weight coming from Sharon, who's built a visible profile of her own well beyond being David Adeleke's sister. She's a regular fixture at major fashion events, including past appearances at Paris Fashion Week, and launched her own clothing line, BodyPolitix.
