Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has received 15-year-old autistic artist and Guinness World Record holder Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke at his office in Lagos.

The governor described the teenager’s achievement as a reminder that talent shows up in different ways and deserves support. He said Lagos is committed to creating space for everyone, especially young people facing unique challenges.

Kanyeyachukwu made history in 2025 after setting a Guinness World Record for the largest painting on canvas by an individual, covering over 12,000 square metres.

The artwork, titled Impossibility is a Myth, was unveiled in Abuja on World Autism Acceptance Day to promote awareness about autism and support children living with the condition.

At just 15, the young artist’s success has drawn attention to the power of creativity and inclusion, proving that age or disability does not limit impact.
