UK Tightens Security Ahead of Tinubu’s Windsor Visit
Security will be heightened in Windsor ahead of the planned visit of Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu to the United Kingdom.
Thames Valley Police said temporary airspace restrictions will be enforced around Windsor Castle on March 18 as part of security arrangements.
Tinubu is expected to attend a reception at the royal residence hosted by King Charles III.
Police said armed officers and other security units will be deployed, warning that any violation of the airspace restrictions could lead to arrest. Road closures are also expected in parts of Windsor during the visit.
