Boluwatife Balogun, the teenage son of Nigerian music star Wizkid, has generated reactions online after sharing his thoughts on the ongoing Ramadan fasting period.

The 14-year-old, who recently ventured into music, posted a message describing the spiritual season as a meaningful time for him. He wrote that the holy month “is hitting different” and expressed gratitude as he watches things fall into place in his life.

During the online exchange, Boluwatife also revealed that his Muslim name is Abdul Rahman, explaining that it was given to him by his paternal grandfather.

His comment surprised some social media users who were unaware of his connection to Islam. Wizkid has previously spoken about growing up in an interfaith family, with his father practising Islam while his mother is a Christian.
