The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed candidates for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination to start printing their examination slips.

JAMB made the announcement on Thursday. Candidates should visit the official website jamb.gov.ng and click on “2026 Slip Printing” to download their slips.

The slip contains important details including the examination venue, date, and time. It also grants candidates access to the examination hall.

This comes after JAMB dismissed a viral press release that falsely claimed the examination had been postponed. The board described the notice as malicious and fake, and urged candidates to ignore it.

The 2026 UTME is scheduled to hold from Thursday, April 16, to Saturday, April 25, 2026. It follows a mock test conducted on Saturday, March 28, which experienced technical difficulties at some computer-based test centres.

Candidates are advised to print their slips promptly to prepare adequately for the examination.
