Nigerian actor Tayo Amokade has called on the police to step in after a disturbing moment involving TikTok content creator King Mitchy went viral online.

King Mitchy reportedly drank a household cleaning chemical during a TikTok live session while in the middle of an online clash with social media activist Verydarkman. The video shocked many viewers and sparked heated conversations across social media.

Her team later claimed the act was influenced by intense online attacks she had been facing.

Reacting in an Instagram video, Ijebu described the incident as dangerous and unacceptable. He warned that many young people watch social media every day and could copy what they see.

He questioned why a chemical meant for cleaning toilets and clothes should be used to make a statement online, adding that influencers should be good examples, not promote harmful behavior.

Ijebu urged the police to take action against anyone who promotes or acts out suicide-related content online, saying such videos send the wrong message to teenagers and vulnerable viewers.

The incident has renewed public concern about extreme content on social media and the need to protect young audiences from harmful trends.
