Carter Efe Says His Late Father Wouldn’t Have Approved His Content Career
Nigerian comedian and streamer Carter Efe has revealed that his life might have taken a very different path if his father were still alive.
In a recent chat, the entertainer explained that his late father believed strongly in education, even though he wasn’t financially comfortable. Out of seven children in the family, five graduated from the university and studied professional courses like Medicine, Pharmacy and Biochemistry.
Carter, however, chose a different road, which is comedy.
With his usual humour, he said while his siblings “studied books,” he “studied fooling,” admitting he was always the playful one in the house.
He added that if his father were alive today, he likely wouldn’t be making skits or streaming online, as stricter guidance would have pushed him toward a more academic career.
The comment has sparked reactions online, with many fans praising his honesty and the journey that led him into entertainment.
