Popular Nigerian gospel artist Judikay has announced the birth of her second child, a baby girl, with her husband, Pastor Anselem Opara, marking a joyful milestone for the family.

The singer shared the news on Instagram, posting elegant maternity photos alongside details of the birth.

According to her, their daughter, Shekinah Umechukwu Opara, was born on February 14, 2026. She explained that the name translates to “The Breath and Manifest Glory of the Lord,” describing the child as a divine gift.

Expressing gratitude, Judikay celebrated the arrival with a heartfelt message, praising God and affirming her faith, while emphasising the significance of the moment to her family.

The announcement comes months after the singer opened up about a difficult period in 2025, during which she experienced the loss of six pregnancies, a revelation that drew widespread empathy from fans and the gospel music community.

Judikay and Pastor Opara got married in August 2020, followed by a white wedding later that year. The couple already share a first child, making the newborn their second.

Since the announcement, fans and well-wishers have flooded her social media pages with congratulatory messages, celebrating what many have described as a testimony of resilience and faith.
