Tiwa Savage Sets Up Music Bootcamp in Lagos for Young African Talents
Afrobeats icon Tiwa Savage is taking her impact beyond the stage and into the classroom.
The singer has unveiled a new project that will bring professional music training to Lagos, giving young creatives a rare chance to learn directly from top instructors of the Berklee College of Music.
The four-day program, scheduled for April 23–26, 2026, will serve as an intensive learning space for upcoming artists who want to understand not just how to perform, but how to survive and succeed in the music business.
Instead of travelling abroad for quality music education, participants will receive guidance at home through practical sessions, mentoring, and workshops focused on songwriting, performance, and career building.
Tiwa Savage described the project as a way of opening doors for young Africans who already have talent but lack access to the right direction and opportunities.
She said the goal is to help them see that global success is possible from Nigeria.
The initiative is being driven through her music foundation and is expected to attract aspiring musicians from across the country and beyond.
Industry observers say the program could reshape how music education is approached in Nigeria by connecting raw talent with international standards of training.
With Lagos as the host city and Tiwa Savage at the forefront, the project is being seen as a bold step toward grooming the next generation of African music stars.
