A Lagos-based woman, Osarobo Odigie, has filed a pre-action notice against TikTok streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, over alleged defamation and invasion of privacy.

Through her lawyers, Odigie accused the influencer of insulting her during a confrontation at a Lagos lounge and recording the incident without her consent before sharing the video on social media.

Her legal team said the viral clip led to online harassment and reputational damage.

The claimant is demanding ₦395 million in damages and has asked the streamer to delete the video and issue a public apology. The lawyers warned that legal action would follow if the demands are not met.
